Christmas in New York

17:53

Hey everyone! I have always wanted to visit and explore New York during the holidays. I finally did so and it was spectacular! New York has so much life during the rest of the year, but, during the holidays, it booms with extravagant decorations, lights, and cheerful people.

The first thing you have to do when you arrive in New York is to visit Rockefeller Center.

It was quite easy bumping into Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

The top of the Empire State Building is a must since you get to truly witness how many buildings stand tall in New York.

Always a kid at heart. I had to go to FAO Schwartz (which is a toy store that has been around since 1862).

This tree was inside The Metlife building.

This was at The Shops at Columbus Circle. There are beautiful shops and unique stores inside of this mall.

If you haven't heard about the grumpy cat, look him up!

I wish I could have brought this home with me.

Breakfast at Lexington Brass.

Belgian Waffles that make me want to move to New York which can be found at Le Pain Quotidien.

Dessert at Basso56 which is an Italian restaurant.

This is at the Plaza Hotel. It can be found at the lower level next to the small shops and boutiques.

For all of you chocolate lovers: Hazelnut Rocher from Epicerie Boulud located inside the Plaza Hotel, NY.

Had to wait 30-40 minutes outside of this amazing place but it was worth it. Why? They have amazing banana pudding! Oh and the cupcakes are good too but the banana pudding is the reason why so many people will wait in line in the freezing cold!

Next time you are in NYC, make sure to grab a banana pudding at magnolia Bakery. This is serious business.

Had to save the best for last.

The tree at Rockefeller Center is massive and incredibly beautiful, especially at night time. I love New York, I love the energy, and most of all, I love the memories I made there during this time of year.

Merry Christmas,

Yvonne
